This Privacy Policy explains what information Gift Willow collects when you visit giftwillow.shop or place an order, why we need it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. \nWhen you email us or use Submit a Ticket, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach, for example photos of a damaged ornament.
\nLike most websites, our server records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. These logs help us keep the site secure and working. We do not install third-party advertising trackers or third-party analytics tools on giftwillow.shop at the time of writing.
\nWhen you pay, the payment provider shown at checkout processes your payment. We receive confirmation that the payment succeeded, the amount, and limited reference details. We never receive or store your full card number.

\nPersonalisation text deserves its own section, because it often includes children’s names. We use that text only to make your item and to handle any question or return about it. We do not use it for marketing, we do not publish it, and we do not share it with anyone except the production partner that makes the item. Our live preview runs in your own browser while you type; the text reaches us only when you add the item to your cart and place the order. The “Try a name” box on our homepage is a visual preview only and stores nothing.

The whole site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to order information is limited to the people and services that need it to fulfil and support your order. Passwords for customer accounts are stored in encrypted form. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable care, and we would tell you promptly if a problem ever affected your information.
\nWherever you live, you can ask us to:

We reply within 24 hours on business days and may ask a question to confirm your identity before acting, so that no one else can see or change your details. Residents of some US states, Canada, Australia and New Zealand have additional rights under their local privacy laws; we honour those rights.
\nWhen you ship a gift to a parent, grandparent or friend, you give us their name and address. We use those details only to deliver that parcel and to handle any return or question about it. We do not add the recipient to any mailing list and we do not contact them for marketing. If the recipient writes to us about the gift — for example to arrange a return — we will discuss the order with them, but we will not show them the price you paid or your payment details.
\nBy entering someone else’s address, you confirm that you are sending them a gift and that they would reasonably expect it. If a recipient asks us to remove their details after the order is complete, we do so unless the law requires us to keep the order record.
\nYou can buy from Gift Willow without creating an account. If you choose to create one, it stores your addresses and past orders so you can reorder or check an order more easily. You can ask us to close the account at any time; your past order records are then kept only as long as the law requires.
